Vice Principal

Trivandrum International School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Vice Principal to support the Principal in leading our school community. The Vice Principal will play a crucial role in enhancing student achievement, fostering a positive school culture, and ensuring the effective implementation of educational programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Leadership: Assist the Principal in developing and implementing the school’s vision, mission, and strategic goals.
• Academic Administration: Oversee curriculum implementation and assessment practices to ensure high academic standards and student success.
• Staff Development: Collaborate with the Principal in recruiting, training, and evaluating faculty and staff, providing mentorship and support as needed.
• Student Support: Promote student welfare and discipline, addressing academic and behavioural issues in collaboration with teachers and parents.
• Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with parents, community members, and stakeholders to support the school’s initiatives and enhance student learning.
• Operational Management: Assist in the management of daily school operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and compliance with educational policies.
• Professional Development: Organise and facilitate professional development opportunities for staff to enhance teaching strategies and leadership skills.
• Data Analysis: Monitor and analyse student performance data to identify areas for improvement and inform instructional practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Educational Administration, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within an educational setting, preferably as a Vice Principal or similar position.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional best practices, and assessment strategies.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups, including students, staff, and the community.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive school environment.
