
Malvern St. James School invites you to register up to six students aged 13-15 and one adult HERE for a RS Zoom Postcard on 22 April with the theme “Is there any value in studying Shakespeare in 2026?”
The 60-minute call will take place at 4pm BST (GMT +1) which we make to be 8am in Los Angeles and Vancouver, 9am in Mexico City and San Pedro Sula, 11am in Miami and Ottawa, 12pm in Buenos Aires and São Paulo, 5pm in Paris and Johannesburg, 6pm in Nairobi and Doha, and 7pm in Dubai. But please check for your own location.
Ahead of the call our hosts ask each delegation to upload HERE a slide answering the following questions:
- Is Shakespeare part of your school curriculum? If yes, which play(s) have you studied? / If no, do you think he should be included?
- Do you think studying Shakespeare is valuable or relevant today? Why or why not? Give at least one clear example to support your opinion (this could relate to themes, language, life lessons, modern adaptations, etc.)
