Lena Burmester: Stiftung Louisenlund (2016), Founder of The Sevens Group

Lena Burmester graduated from Louisenlund, a boarding school located on the banks of the Schleif Fjord in northern Germany, in 2016. She joined the school in Grade 5 and attended university in Hamburg where she graduated with a degree in Communications and Graphics in 2019. It was her love for management and music that led to the creation of her company, The Sevens Group, in 2017.

Vihaan Agarwal wins the 2023 Kurt Hahn Prize with a remarkable invention

Today would have been the 137th birthday of Kurt Hahn, the man whose ideas about education inspired the creation of Round Square. To mark the occasion, we are delighted to announce the winner of our annual Kurt Hahn Prize, which recognises exceptional acts of service to others. The 2023 prize will be presented to Vihaan Agarwal from The Shri Ram School, Aravali, in India, who invented a glove that assists partially paralysed people to communicate through small finger movements using sensors to facilitate rudimentary sign language.
