We are seeking to appoint an experienced Educational leader who will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the ongoing development and continuos improvement of teaching and learning throughout the school.

Craighouse School is a leading, independent, bilingual, coeducational day school of just under 2,000 pupils. The school has Chilean and British traditions and offers IB PYP, MYP & DP as well as following the Chilean national curriculum.

Inaugurated in March 2013 and scenically located in the foothills of the Andes, our new purpose-built campus provides excellent facilities in a stunning natural environment. The Director of Music and The Arts must be a qualified music teacher.

She/he will manage, lead and develop the team that teaches music, drama/theatre and visual arts from Play Group to Year 12 and reports directly to the Academic Director.

The Director of Music and The Arts is responsible of the development of positive working relationships, so every pupil is valued as an individual who is known and respected within an ordered and purposeful community that prepares them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life.
