Ashbury College is an independent day and boarding school located in Rockcliffe Park, Ottawa, Canada. It was founded in 1891 and moved to its current venue in 1910.
Ashbury College is committed to embracing the Round Square IDEALS of internationalism, democracy, environmentalism, action, leadership and service. As students of a Round Square school, Ashburians make a strong commitment, beyond academic excellence, to personal development and responsibility. This is guided by a sincere commitment to the IDEALS. It is achieved by participating in community service, work projects, exchange programmes and adventuring, which can, and often does, take students half way around the world. This underlying belief also embraces the importance of service to others, adventure and leadership training, responsibility and international understanding. These attributes are essential in preparing young people to meet the challenges of the future with confidence and compassion.
