RSIS Big Build Vietnam: welcome to Vietnam

It’s been a busy day and we are pleased to announce that all students have now arrived safely in Vietnam. All students were met by our wonderful team of adult leaders at Hanoi International Airport in Vietnam and escorted back to the hotel to relax and to get to know the rest of the team.

Our RSIS Big Build Vietnam team is led by Vicki from St Philip’s College, Australia and with her on the adult leadership team is Caroline from Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School, Kate from St Philip’s College, Freddy from Colegio Gran Bretaña, Tracey from Aiglon, Clifford from Felsted school, James from St. Stithians Girls’ College and Emma from the Round Square Worldwide Management Team.

We are excited to have Round Square students from schools across the globe join us on this project including Ballarat Grammar, Box Hill School, Brookhouse School, Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School, Doon School, Felsted School, Geraldton Grammar School, Glenlyon Norfolk School, Ivanhoe Grammar School, Mayo College, Schule Schloss Salem, St. Clement’s School, St. Cyprian’s School, St George’s Diocesan School, St. Philip’s College, Vivek High School, Woodleigh School, Woodstock School, Latymer Upper School, The British School Jakatar, AKS Lytham, YK Pao and Christ’s College.

Students are now back at the hotel in Hanoi resting after their long flights and getting to know each other. They will have a team dinner tonight to celebrate their first evening together in country, but it’s early to bed as there is a full day planned for tomorrow. Students will receive their project induction an will have the opportunity to get their first taste of local culture with a city tour.
