Age range: 12 - 17

Salésien is a private coed high school in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. Our school was created in 1962 by the Salesians of Don Bosco who have embedded values of respect, empathy and commitment in the core of our institution. We work to create a forward thinking environment that will allow our students to blossom and thrive in today’s world.

The IDEALS in our school

The Round Square IDEALS are strongly embedded in our school. Service is done with volunteer programs for all our students through community organizations and with international service trips to Mexico and Haiti.  Adventure is developed with the offer of 14 afternoons a year where our students have access to various activities from robotics to mountain biking in order to find their passions and get out of their comfort zones. Democracy and leadership are developed with such things as our student council and integrated project program. We believe that the IDEALS will help us in providing a well-rounded education for our students.

What being a Round Square school means to us

Round Square is valuable to us because it enriches our curriculum by offering rewarding service projects and student exchanges outside of the classroom. The Ideals of the Round Square are embedded in our school’s Mission statement: Our goal is to supervise, support and educate open-minded global citizens using a comprehensive educational approach.
