The IDEALS in our school
Tiger Kloof strives to take education far beyond the academic to include every aspect of personal development. We encourage all our children to engage in our extensive service programme and many of them come from disadvantaged backgrounds themselves. We farm and manage 1200 hectares sustainably, we have an adventure centre, which encourages leadership and individual responsibility, we have many international partners and we love to welcome visitors to this unique and challenging but exciting corner of South Africa.
What being a Round Square school means to us
As a school which serves a largely disadvantaged community, membership of Round Square gives our children extraordinary opportunities. It opens their hearts and minds to the wider world and we feel that we give something unique and special to the Round Square body, through commitment to service in our local townships and care of our harsh but beautiful environment. The relationships that we build enrich this unknown corner of South Africa and its very special young people.
