The medal will be produced by the RS Board of Directors and distributed in November each year to all schools that are full members of Round Square.

  1. This medal is to be awarded at every Round Square's annual prize-giving or another formal occasion when the school community is gathered. The medal is to be treated with the same sense of importance as the Kurt Hahn Prize or any other major award given by the school.
  2. This medal is to be presented to an individual or group of individuals from within the school community who has/have done unusual and outstanding service work and have thereby supported and promoted the ideals of Round Square. While individual recipients should be students, a group receiving this award might also include teachers, staff, governors or parents. (Schools may purchase additional medals to accommodate group awards if they so wish.)
  3. All medal recipients will be recognised in the school in the same manner as any other prize winner at that school would be (e.g., picture on the wall, name on a prize board, etc.).
  4. Each year, all recipients of the King Constantine Round Square Medal will be recognised by name at the Round Square Conference, and their names will be recorded into the Minutes of the RS Annual General Meeting.
  5. The medal will have on its face the words "Round Square King Constantine medal", and a likeness of His Majesty. On the reverse will be the words (from Hahn's 'Seven Laws of Salem
